Requirements

• RN license
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH
• ATCAR or equivalent trauma education
• Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment (must be sent by the agency)
• Maryland or compact RN license

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients including Medical, Surgical, Coronary Care, Neuro, and Trauma patients
• Monitor and manage high-risk neuro and trauma interventions
• Manage multisystem organ dysfunction/failure and interpret dysrhythmias
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, including IABP, CRRT, EVD, and Arctic Sun/Cooling blanket management
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and ensure comprehensive patient care
