About the role

We are seeking a skilled ICU RN to join our team for a night shift position. The role involves providing critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 1:4. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICU and/or Stepdown nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare and maintain patient records in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Schedule

This position requires a 3x12-hour night shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a holiday rotation and required weekend coverage every other weekend.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Active SC license or a Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS; NIHSS certification preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
