About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas. This assignment lasts 13 weeks and is scheduled to start on June 8, 2026. Shift: 12H Nights. Total Weekly Hours: 36. Trauma Level: Facility Specific.

Requirements

• 2+ Years of Hospital Experience
• 2+ Years of Specialty Experience
• Active RN License (Temporary License will not be accepted)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Preferred Skills

• MEDITECH Experience
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
• TCRN (Trauma Certified Registered Nurse)

Procedures Performed on Unit

• Central line insertions
• Arterial line insertions
• Thoracotomies
• Bedside tracheostomies
• Chest tube insertions

Unit Details

• Experience with specific documentation system: Meditech
• Supervisor present on every shift, PCT (Patient Care Technician)
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Dress Code: Scrub Color - Royal Blue
• Nail Policy: Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
• Hair: Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors, pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
