Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,415 per week
About the role
This position involves working in a highly specialized ICU unit with a focus on cardiovascular and trauma patients. The role requires delivering high acuity care, including titration of drips, managing complex patient conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a tertiary care setting, providing advanced critical care services. The unit is a 16-bed ICU with 2 additional procedural beds, serving diverse surgical and trauma patients.
Responsibilities
Nurses must have experience with high acuity patients, including post-operative heart patients and those requiring complex interventions such as CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO (experience helpful but not required).
RNs monitor their own telemetry via GE monitors and are responsible for reading and documenting rhythm strips. The unit employs a one-day onboarding/CBT system followed by two orientation shifts.
A dedicated charge nurse is present on each shift, and nursing aides are available during day shifts. Float: Able to staff in MICU if not needed in SICU, or serve as patient observer if required.
Requirements
- Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
- Legal license to submit

- Ability to work at the facility location
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high acuity or cardiovascular and trauma patient populations; experience with titration of drips such as epi, norepinephrine, propofol, precedex, vaso, dobutamine, heparin, insulin, dopamine, neo, milrinone.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday required. A minimum of 36 hours per week.
