Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,290 per week

Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) needed in a rural setting in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The position involves managing critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced equipment and following strict clinical protocols.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Bedside management of critical care patients
• Potential float to Medsurg, Emergency Room, or Post-partum units (helping out, not taking patient load)
• Adhere to clinical protocols and site-specific dress code (any color scrubs permitted)
• Use of Cerner charting system
• On-call may be required during low census periods

Unit Details

• 10 beds/rooms
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:2 for critical care, 1:4 for stepdown, 1:4-5 for Medsurg overflow
• Work with another RN on the team
• Shadowing and orientation provided with immediate participation after Day 2
• HR and education requirements completed on Day 1; restraint training on Day 2

• Pyxis medication system

Requirements

• Wyoming state or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years experience in critical care
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• No BSN requirement
