Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Region II: The organization is seeking a dedicated ICU nurse to provide expert care within a 4‑bed ICU and 19 medical beds in a combined unit. The position involves floating across multiple facilities within Region Two, supporting various critical and medical‑surgical patients, including ventilator management and telemetry interpretation.
ICU nurse required to support a unit with 4 ICU beds and 19 medical beds, with potential to convert beds to ICU or progressive care unit (PCU) if needed. The role involves rotating through Med Surg assignments and floating across facilities in Region II, including St. Clare Hospital Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital Enumclaw, WA; and St Joseph Medical Center Tacoma, WA.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert care in a 4‑bed ICU and 19‑bed medical unit.
- Float across multiple facilities (St. Clare Hospital Lakewood, St. Elizabeth Hospital Enumclaw, St. Joseph Medical Center Tacoma).
- Support critical and medical‑surgical patients.
- Manage ventilators and interpret telemetry.
- Rotate through Med Surg assignments.
- Participate in the hospital’s Code Team (if experienced).
- Demonstrate autonomy, good communication, and willingness to ask questions.
- Work with virtual hospitalist and in‑house emergency/specialty physicians.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
- Ability to manage ventilators and titrate critical drips (sedation, vasoactive medications, paralytics).
- Valid nursing licensure (to submit).

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
12‑hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, requiring a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.
