About the role
- Location: Hazard, Kentucky
- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 12-hour shifts on a 3x12/4x12 rotating schedule
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week (84 hours every two weeks)
- ICU Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
- Float within scope of practice as needed
- Every other weekend required; block scheduling not available
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of current ICU experience
- Active Kentucky or Compact RN License (required at submission)
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Must reside 75+ miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
- Active RN license in hand at submission
- Unexpired driver’s license with matching permanent address
- ARH coversheet required
- Up to 7 days of RTO accepted if submitted with the application
- 2 professional references (1 Charge RN or higher and 1 Supervisor)
- Copies of all required certifications
- Only one ARH position may be submitted at a time
