Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,180 per week

Job Summary

The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing position is located in a 25-bed ICU unit within a hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The role involves providing specialized critical care to a diverse patient population, utilizing advanced equipment and technology, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a level 2 trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center designation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care to a diverse patient population in a 25-bed ICU unit
• Utilize advanced equipment and technology including GE monitors, Hamilton bipaps and hi-flows, Puritan ventilators, and Hemospheres
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including around-the-clock mid-levels, trauma surgeons, and respiratory therapists
• Conduct bedside shift reports at each shift change with updated MyCare boards
• Participate in rotating float rotation, with the first floating rotation assigned to travelers
• Work without unit secretaries or PCTs

Required Qualifications

• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Three years of ICU experience
• Strong telemetry skills
• Experience titrating vasoactive and inotropic medications
• Chest tube experience
• Past ICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Open heart experience
• Temporary pacing experience
• Swan-Ganz catheter experience
• Procedures such as intubation, central line, and arterial line placement

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Rotating float rotation
