Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,142 per week
About the role
American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week contract in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This position requires 2 years of RN experience, strong telemetry skills, experience titrating vasoactive and inotropic medications, chest tube experience, and ACLS and BLS certifications. Candidates must be willing to obtain state licensure if not already held.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert patient care in a clinical ICU setting
- Demonstrate strong telemetry skills
- Administer and titrate vasoactive and inotropic medications
- Aid in procedures such as intubation, central line, arterial line, and chest tube placement
- Manage and monitor ICU patients with Telemetry skills
- Apply knowledge of vasoactive medications and chest tube management
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a RN
- Strong telemetry skills
- Experience titrating vasoactive and inotropic medications
- Chest tube experience
- Past ICU experience
- AQUCOMPLIANT ACLS and BLS certifications
- Preferred: Open Heart experience, temporary pacing, Swan-Ganz catheter experience
- Valid RN license in NH or compact license
- Willing to obtain State licensure if not already held

Pay, Schedule, and Benefits
Pay range is discussed with recruiter. Schedule is 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts a week, 4 weekend shifts per month (Night). Contract length is 13 weeks.
