Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,125 per week

About the role

ICU Intensive Care Unit nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID, providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Floating to multiple ICUs, inpatient floors, and non-critical care units as needed
• Patient ratios of 2:1 in ICUs and no more than 1:3 on inpatient floors
• Potentially serving as a patient sitter
• Administration of chemotherapy
• Arterial line management
• Blood product administration
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care
• CVVHD/CRRT
• ECMO
• ICP monitoring
• Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Excellent critical care judgment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• At least 1 year in cardiovascular ICU
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS required
• CCRN, TNCC, ONS preferred
• Relevant nursing degree
• Appropriate state licensure in hand at time of submittal if required
• Valid license in MO, IL, or matching permanent residence

Schedule

• Night shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
