Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,085 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for an ICU position. The role requires floating to IMCU and Med-Surg units based on patient volume needs. The home unit will primarily be the standard ICU.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to ICU patients with a ratio of 1:2.
  • Manage ventilators and care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.
  • Perform central line care and titrate vasoactive drips.
  • Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
  • Administer continuous IV sedation and maintain infection prevention protocols.

Requirements

  • 2 years of recent ICU RN experience is required.
  • Must possess active North Carolina license or valid multistate license.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
  • Experience with ventilator management and care of ventilated patients is required.
  • Comfortable managing pediatric patients, though their frequency is low.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
  • Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
