About the role
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Clyde, North Carolina. This role involves providing advanced patient care within a 12-bed ICU setting, focusing on adult patients with various diagnoses such as sepsis, COPD exacerbation, and hypertension urgency. The position is scheduled for day shifts with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours and is suitable for candidates with ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to ICU patients
- Occasionally float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Requirements
- Associate’s degree
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience
- Located within 60 miles or more of Clyde, North Carolina
Unit Information
- 12-bed ICU with patient ratios approximately 2:1
- EHR system: Paragon
- Adult patient population
- Dress code: Navy scrubs; no excessive piercings or hair coloring
- Upcoming start dates: 08/17/2026, 08/31/2026, and 09/14/2026
Schedule
- Day shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
