About the Role
This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) on the night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
- Develop individualized plans of care based on nursing assessments.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Document all patient assessments, interventions, and responses in medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to communicate patient status and needs.
- Implement discharge planning from the day of admission, ensuring patient readiness for discharge.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary nursing personnel.
- Maintain a safe work and patient environment, adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
- Act as a team player to foster a positive and effective work environment.
- Engage in continuous professional development through education and training.
Requirements
- BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
- ACLS certification required prior to the first shift for specific locations.
- Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is required.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
