Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,940 per week
Job Summary
The role involves providing specialized care in a 20-bed mixed ICU and Step Down unit, with additional floating responsibilities to a sister unit for managing higher acuity patients. The position requires managing patients with severe respiratory failure, sepsis, neurologic conditions, and complex metabolic and cardiac disorders.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Valid license to practice as a registered nurse in Indiana
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ventilator management, invasive monitoring, and complex medication administration
- Knowledge of ICU protocols such as NIH and TNK therapy
Additional Information
The unit cares for patients with severe respiratory, circulatory, neurologic, and metabolic conditions requiring continuous monitoring, invasive lines, and advanced oxygen therapies. The role involves managing titrated IV medications and performing frequent laboratory assessments.
