Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,932 per week

About the role
This is a 13-week travel contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) on the night shift. The assignment is in Durham, North Carolina, with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
- Develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in rehabilitation programs, providing direct patient care and education.
- Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission.
- Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care.
- Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientation staff.
- Maintain an environment focused on safety and quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in team-building activities to enhance unit functioning.
- Assume charge responsibilities as needed.
- Engage in professional development through continued education.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification required prior to first shift.
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift (specific to CIRH only).
- Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
- Night shift: 19:00 – 07:00 (12 hours).
- 3 shifts per week.
