Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,860 per week
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse position is available in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized critical care for patients in a 36-bed ICU unit, including neuro, cardiac, and medical surgical patients. The position features a 12-hour daytime shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with scheduling flexibility for as-needed weekend, holiday, and other operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized critical care for patients in a 36-bed ICU unit, including neuro, cardiac, and medical surgical patients
- Work a 12-hour daytime shift from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Float as needed; float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Illinois Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- 2+ years of strong ICU experience
- Proficient in EPIC charting
- Updated resume
- Completed skills checklist within the last 12 months
- One reference within the last 12 months
- IL license verification

- Travel experience
Schedule
- 12-hour Day shift, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Orientation: Wednesdays every other week, next orientation scheduled for 08/26 (6 hours, non-billable)
- Start date: approximately two weeks from the offer date
- Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2 or 2-3 depending on acuity
