Job Summary

The organization is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift located in Rome, Georgia. The position involves providing critical care to diverse patient populations within a facility that offers Level 2 Trauma designation and comprehensive support across multiple specialized units. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work within a team to deliver quality patient care.

Schedule

  • Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start date: 08/17/2026
  • Duration: 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid nursing license
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in ICU
  • TNCC and CPI certifications (training offered if not available) for all nurses

Orientation

1 week of New Employee Orientation (NEO), followed by 2-3 days departmental orientation on the floor.

Ratios

1:2 (days and nights) for ICU patients, with potential for increase up to 1:3 depending on acuity.

Floating

May be required across all med-surg and critical care areas, including emergency department boarders.
