Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,575 per week
Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is available in Waco, Texas. This role involves providing critical care in a diverse ICU environment with medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patient populations. The nurse will be expected to float between the ICU and step-down units, delivering specialized patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a registered nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- At least three years of clinical experience in an ICU setting
- Able to float between critical care service lines including ICU and step-down units in the organizations medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units
- Able to respond to various patient needs across complex cases
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLs (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Experience with advanced ICU procedures such as vent management, IABP, Impella, CRRT
- Familiarity with complex cardiac and respiratory conditions
