MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit assignment in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Start date: October 26, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: travel.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult patients with life‑threatening conditions requiring complex assessment and high‑intensity therapies
• Provide patient care, education, and support to families
• Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to control rapid changes in patient condition
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively
