Travel ICU/CCU RN - $1,877 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified agency, is seeking a travel ICU/CCU Registered Nurse for a 13‑week assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. Start date: November 16, 2026. The position is a travel role with 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts).

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certification
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult patients with life‑threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, high‑intensity therapies, and interventions
• Provide patient care, education, and support to patients’ families
• Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt control of changes in patient condition
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively
