About the role
Travel nurse RN ICU assignment in Pasadena, Texas, starting 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Manage care of adult patients with life‑threatening conditions requiring complex assessment and high‑intensity therapies.
- Provide patient care, education, and support to families.
- Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
- Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
- Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration.
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt control of changes in patient condition.
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting.
- Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
