About the Role
A skilled House Supervisor RN to lead nursing operations, ensuring quality patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervising nursing staff during shifts and supporting efficient patient care
- Coordinating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to maintain optimal flow
- Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations
- Adjusting staffing based on patient acuity and census
- Responding to emergencies and leading during critical situations
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and department leaders
- Addressing staff, patient, and and family concerns professionally
- Participating in quality assurance and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Utilizing electronic health records and incident reporting systems
Requirements
- Recent RN House Supervisor experience (minimum one year)
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and assist with equipment and procedures
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular activity, and maintain attention to detail
