Travel Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,807 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing Treatment Plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
• Aid in patient recovery using physical therapy equipment
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress
• Provide patient education on proper body mechanics and techniques
• Educate patients on exercises, stretches, and home care strategies
• Teach patients how to use assistive devices and ensure safe usage
• Offer emotional support to patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
• Communicate with other team members to develop the best care plan
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of physical therapy equipment
• Ensure therapy areas are tidy and organized
• Adhere to infection control standards and ensure patient safety
• Assist in evaluations and initial assessments
• Monitor patients for signs of fatigue, discomfort, or injury

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Tennessee
• Experience in physical therapy, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of physical therapy equipment and techniques
• Passion for patient care and rehabilitation

Pay

Tax-free stipend amount to be determined based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week.
