Travel Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,601 per week

About the role

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapy Assistant with Jackson Therapy Partners. You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in a home‑health setting.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, reducing pain, and increasing activity levels.
• Collaborate with a licensed Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress using EPIC.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active State License (VA or Compact) required to start the assignment.
• 2+ years of home‑health Physical Therapy Assistant experience.
• Previous home‑health experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• BLS certification (AHA only) may be required.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – no weekend or on‑call requirements.

The area also provides access to the Shenandoah Valley and nearby Skyline Drive.
