About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in their home environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in home health or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of home health insurance billing and coding
Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
Schedule
8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
