Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a travel job in Rancho Cordova, California. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work in a home health setting within the greater Sacramento County area, providing therapeutic services to patients with various diagnoses, including cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services to patients in their homes.
• Manage a typical caseload of 5-6 patients per day.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using Cerner charting system.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Schedule

This position offers guaranteed hours, with a standard work week of 40 hours. Shift is 8 hours, days.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• New graduates may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Compensation & benefits

• Mileage will be reimbursed at the GSA rate with prior approval.
• Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Duration: 17 weeks. Start Date: 09/29/2026. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts for assignments lasting 13 weeks, and up to 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Location: Greater Sacramento County area.
