Job Summary

A Remote Home Healthcare Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is available in Lexington, Kentucky. This role primarily involves providing patient care with minimal clinical involvement, focusing on tasks such as start of care, recertifications, evaluations, and visits. The position requires adaptability to a flexible schedule and a commitment to patient-centered care within a home health setting.

Job Details

• Shift: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and holiday rotation.
• Schedule: 5 to 8-hour days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Must have at least 1 year of experience working with common diagnoses such as CHF, orthopedic conditions, and pneumonia in an acute inpatient, outpatient, or home health setting.

Additional Information

• Orientation involves two weeks of setup with a preceptor, including a few visits with a work coach.
• A phone and tablet will be provided for communication and documentation.
• The electronic charting system used is Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• The clinical manager or educator is available 24/7 for emergencies or during working hours.
• Candidates must hold a valid license to submit applications.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
