Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure quality and diagnostic usefulness
- Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate findings to physicians, and alert them to urgent problems
- Prepare patients for procedures and educate them throughout the ultrasound exam
- Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments
Requirements
- Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- 2 years of recent relevant experience
Contract Details
This is a 13-week contract with the possibility to extend. The role offers FLEX shifts in a hospital setting.
Pay
$2,142 - $2,336 per week. Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
