Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract starting ASAP at a hospital in Hilo, Hawaii. The position requires active ARDMS certification, an associate or bachelor's degree with science coursework, and two years of recent relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
- American Heart Association BLS
- Two years of recent relevant experience as a General Diagnostic Sonographer
Contract Details
$1,980 - $2,030 per week, 13-week contract with potential extension. AM shifts available in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment and review images for quality and diagnostic value
- Identify and communicate normal and abnormal imaging results to physicians and health professionals
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide education throughout the ultrasound exam
- Review patient medical history, document imaging results, and coordinate care with various departments
