About the Role
Medical Solutions is seeking a talented Float Med Surg Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Albany, New York. This position offers a 13-week duration with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.
Unit Specifics
- 766 licensed beds
- 35 ORs – 25 in block currently with 1 dedicated Trauma emergency room, 1 hybrid room
- Equipment specific to each specialty (no burn unit, VADs, heart transplant, or lung transplant procedures)
- Documentation system: OR Manager
- Scheduling requirements: 1:3 weekends; options for 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts
- Floating policy: to areas with competency; internal float team assists in filling holes
- Patient experience: personalized pre-op greetings
