About the role

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a 600+ bed academic hospital, required to have Epic experience and a proven track record in a high-acuity environment. The role demands proficiency in patient care and the ability to handle various responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize electronic medical records for patient documentation and care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously, providing timely interventions as needed.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score.
• 2 years of experience may qualify without the requirement for testing.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission.
• Navy blue scrubs are required.

Schedule

Full-time, 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
