Travel & Expense Analyst - Initial 6-month contract - Fast growing Technology.Location: Houston Working model: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office Salary: $28 - $33ph depending on experienceAltum Consulting are partnering with a fast-growing international technology business to recruit a Travel & Expense Analyst. This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day management and processing of Travel & Expense activities across the business. You will work closely with the Senior T&E Lead and wider Finance team to ensure employee expenses and travel-related transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with company policy.This would suit someone with experience in Travel & Expense, Accounts Payable or Finance Operations who is looking to take the next step and gain greater ownership of the T&E process.Role:Process and review employee expense claimsReview corporate card transactions and supporting documentationEnsure expenses are coded and approved correctlyCheck expense claims against company policyInvestigate and resolve discrepancies and employee queriesEnsure expenses are processed accurately and on a timely basisAssist with employee and supplier queries relating to travel and expensesPerform basic reconciliations of expense and corporate card accountsSupport month-end activities relating to T&EMaintain accurate records and documentationFollow established T&E processes and controlsIdentify and flag any issues or unusual transactionsSupport the Senior T&E Lead with process improvements and projectsAssist with maintaining T&E policies and proceduresWork closely with Accounts Payable and the wider Finance teamYou'll be/have:Immediately available/short notice period with full working rights1-3 years' experience in Travel & Expense, Accounts Payable, Finance Operations or a similar roleGood understanding of employee expenses and expense processesStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time-management skillsPrevious experience in an international business would be advantageousWhat You'll Get:Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the Houston officeOpportunity to join a rapidly growing international technology businessHands-on exposure to a growing T&E functionOpportunity to develop your finance and T&E expertiseClose working relationship with the Senior T&E LeadCareer progression as the business continues to scaleInternational and collaborative working environmentFor further information please contact Jen McMurray on the attached details.
