About the Role
We are seeking a skilled ER RN for a travel assignment in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival, prioritizing urgent care based on severity
- Administering medications and treatments according to protocols
- Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during emergency procedures
- Monitoring patient safety and comfort, responding to immediate needs
- Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records
- Providing patient education tailored to acute care needs
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- At least one year of recent ER nursing experience
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle frequent public contact
