About the Role

Provides high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients
• Explain procedures to patients and families
• Administer treatments and medications
• Support physicians during examinations and procedures
• Monitor patient safety and respond to changes in condition
• Document care and maintain accurate patient records
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions
• Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards

Key Duties

• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and urgency
• Perform emergency procedures and interventions
• Manage and monitor vital signs and patient status
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes
• Support team efforts to ensure efficient, patient-centered care in critical situations

Requirements & Qualifications

• One year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Valid and active RN license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in technical and clinical skills
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and moving patients
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress situations
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
• Effective communication in English
• Must meet sensory and motor skill requirements for the role
