About the role
Deliver high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a busy emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients promptly based on severity
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency procedures
- Monitor patient safety and comfort, document conditions and interventions
- Respond effectively to life-threatening situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Perform other related duties within scope of practice
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and technical skills
- Physical ability to move, push, pull, and perform clinical tasks
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain focus, and adapt to irregular activity
