Shift Details Shift: Nights - 1900-0700 Work Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience Active Nursing License in New York Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates will not be accepted; applicants must reside outside a 75-mile radius Unit Details This position is within an 11-bed medical Emergency Department featuring a separate CPEP unit. The CPEP unit is staffed continuously by emergency nursing personnel and patient care technicians, ensuring optimal patient care. The CPEP unit has two spaces for assessments and extended observation The evaluation space accommodates up to 6 patients The Extended Observation space can hold up to 2 patients All patients must be triaged and medically cleared prior to entering the CPEP area During their time in this space, patients may require laboratory tests or EKGs Nursing staff typically work 6-hour blocks during the day and mid-shifts, while night staff may work 12-hour shifts in this area Security personnel are stationed within the Emergency Department If you are a dedicated and compassionate ER RN ready to contribute to our emergency care team, we encourage you to apply!Modern Healthcare Solutions Job ID #38364812.
