Travel ER RN - $2,829 per week

About the role

Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in College Station, Texas. The assignment is for 6 weeks starting in October 19–28, 2026, with a guarantee of 48 hours per week (36 hours may be considered). Shifts are 12‑hour evenings or mids, with a patient ratio of 1:3–4 in a Level III trauma center that receives STEMI and stroke patients. The nurse will work every other weekend, has no call responsibility, and may be first to float as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a Level III trauma center.
• Manage STEMI and stroke receiving protocols.
• Maintain nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:3–4.
• Work evenings or mids on 12‑hour shifts.
• Participate in every other weekend schedule.
• Float to other units as required.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications.
• Driver’s license required at submission.
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency department experience.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least two years of recent ED experience and be proficient with EPIC documentation.
