Travel ER RN - $1,822 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Bellevue, Washington. The assignment duration is 13 weeks and the employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history.
• Check for patient allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• 3 years of experience (as noted in the requirements section).

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds easily; patient lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Good stress‑coping skills.
• Ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
