Travel ER RN - $2,366 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Clarkston, Washington. The position starts 11/02/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour rotating shifts. The ideal candidate has 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and will work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care according to physician instructions in a fast‑paced ER environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Document medical history and check for patient allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds routinely; up to 50 pounds when moving patients.
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
