Travel ER RN - $2,369 per week

About the role

This travel nursing position is for an RN in the Emergency Department (ED) in Rochester, New York. Start date: 11/02/2026; duration: 13 weeks; employment type: travel. As a Travel ER RN, you’ll provide critical care to patients in emergency situations. You’ll be the frontline responder in treating trauma, acute illnesses, and urgent medical conditions—making an immediate impact wherever you’re assigned.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients in emergency situations
• Administer medications, start IVs, and assist with procedures
• Collaborate with emergency physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families during high-stress events

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Strong critical thinking, rapid decision‑making, and multitasking skills
• Ability to stay calm and confident under pressure
