About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract position for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) in Baltimore, Maryland. The role requires 36 hours per week on a night shift schedule (19:00 - 07:30) with 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday coverage as per the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients presenting with a variety of acute conditions.
• Perform triage, assessments, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress using the EPIC charting system.
• Assist in emergency procedures and interventions as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN License in Maryland or a compact state.
• 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Charge experience preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 3x12-hour shifts per week.
• Night shift: 19:00 - 07:30.
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as per schedule.
