About the Role
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) will provide high-quality care to patients of all age ranges in a fast-paced environment. This is a 16-week contract position with rotating night/evening shifts (3x12 or 4x12 hours), primarily night shift (19:00 - 07:30) with potential evening shifts depending on unit needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Support patients and families with appropriate education and resources.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in the emergency department.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ED RN required.
- Current RN license in the state of Maryland or compact state.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and CPI.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Charge experience preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
