ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Specialty: ED - Emergency Department. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/27/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Shift: 12 hours, days. The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides comprehensive patient care for adults in a high-paced environment. This position involves critical decision-making and collaboration with medical staff to manage emergency cases effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapy, including blood products and vasopressors
• Provide emergency care for a range of conditions, including trauma and cardiac-related emergencies
• Perform triage and manage patient flow within the Emergency Department
• Utilize advanced medical equipment, including CPAP/BiPAP and ventilators
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting
• Comply with isolation precautions and infection control protocols

Requirements

• Active New York Single State RN license (compact licenses accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and valid NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

36 hours per week; 12‑hour day shifts; typical schedule: 4×12‑hour shifts (07:00‑19:00 or 11:00‑23:00).
