About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Newark, New Jersey. The assignment begins 10/26/2026, runs for 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognize and treat life‑threatening conditions, assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses, prioritize injuries via triage, and make quick, accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required (depending on the position)
- Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Emergency Room setting
- Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly pay and direct deposit are provided.
