Travel ER RN - $2,279 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department (ED) and Med Surg float pool in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is for 13 weeks with a start date of 08/17/2026, offering 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, including recognizing and treating life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Understand triage protocols to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.
