Travel ER RN - $2,249 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a hospital contract in Largo, Maryland. The position will start on August 24, 2026, last for 13 weeks, and work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a high-acuity environment using the EPIC charting system.
• Assist in stabilization and treatment of patients with diagnoses such as chest pain, stroke, sepsis, cardiac arrest, trauma, and respiratory illnesses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and facilitate patient education and discharge planning.
• Manage and operate specialized equipment including Belmont in trauma, Giraffe warmer for neonates, Rapid infuser, and Lucas for cardiac arrests.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in EPIC.

Requirements

The right candidate will have the following requirements:

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Maryland.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in emergency department setting preferred.
• Knowledge of the EPIC charting system.
• Ability to manage specialized equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 1 year of acute care experience.
• Experience with pediatric patients.
• Experience with trauma patients.
• Experience with critical care patients.

Skills

Necessary skills include:

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer systems, particularly EPIC.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $2100.99 - $2206.04 per week, subject to confirmation.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 19:30 - 08:00.

Pay Package
