Travel ER RN - $2,232 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Newark, New Jersey. Start date: 10/19/2026; duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week on night shifts. Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The successful candidate will provide high-quality emergency care for both adult and pediatric patients and be responsible for managing diverse patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and critical assessment of patients in emergency situations.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Provide cardiovascular and respiratory care, including CPAP/BiPAP management and ventilator management.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias through cardiac monitoring.
• Implement isolation precautions and de-escalation measures as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in an adult emergency department.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, ITTC - De-escalation Training.
• Experience with central line care/management, triage, and IV therapy.
• Ability to manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure.

Schedule

Night shift: 3×12‑hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30), totaling 36 hours per week.
