About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a position in the Emergency Department at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Hagerstown, Maryland. This is a night shift travel position, not accepting local candidates.

Job Details

• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: August 17, 2026

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
• Administer and monitor medications and treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform triage and assessment of patients upon arrival
• Manage care for high acuity patients, including trauma cases
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation and patient care management
• Participate in emergency response and codes as needed

Required Experience & Certifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department
• Travel experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (pending acceptable)
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system required
• Proof of vaccination: Two-step PPD and flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine required
