MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Lafayette, Louisiana. The assignment is a 13‑week travel contract starting 10/12/2026, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required for some positions
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with a variety of illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand and apply triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.

Pay

Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include gross hourly wages plus reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing.
