Travel ER RN - $1,966 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina.

About the role

This 13-week travel assignment begins on September 21, 2026. The schedule is 12-hour night shifts, with a total of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Arterial line management
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation
• CVA management
• Emergency department care (adult and pediatrics)
• Gunshot wound care
• Head injury management
• ICP monitoring
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE use
• IV vasopressor administration
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Neuro-trauma and orthopedic trauma care
• Phlebotomy
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Spinal cord injury management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Interaction with STEMI and stroke certified facilities
• Traumatic amputation and traumatic brain injury care
• Triage
• EKG and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record (EMR)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Active nursing license (must be in hand upon submission)
• Current driver’s license (required to verify address)
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Certifications

• Required:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • EPIC charting system experience
• Preferred:
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Education and Background

• Third-party education verification required
• Degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and may be subject to change during an assignment.
